UFOs and Marketing.

One of the characteristics of "marketing" is that makes people forget about it.
Baudrillard, the french critic, said that we are now in the society of the simulacrum.
The value of Truth, he wrote, is the Show.
Nothing can get out of the process of "commodification, " so, if we are truly interested in the UFO phenomenon, we must be aware of this.
Let us consider Roswell. Personally I believe that Roswell was a piece of disinformation directed to the Soviet Union in the beginnings of the Cold War.
However. what Is important is the meaning of Roswell now. The "pseudo-event" is "marketized. "
So, what remains is the show, the books or booklets, films, videos, etc. This has nothing to do with Truth. Is just marketing.
The media, the publishers, the marketers, care nothing about truth.
In this marketing environment, abductions, for example, are TWO things : events that "inspire" writers OR writers creating abductions.
What can be done? ask for EVIDENCES. Use LOGIC. Practice CRITICAL THINKING.

The contactee paradox

Let us assume that yes, there are hundreds, perhaps thousands of true "contactees".
Many of these tell us that their contact with Highly Evolved Civilized Aliens is frequent, even daily.
Obviously it is perfectly logic to say that these contacts must have a strong impact in humans like us, right?

Reading the messages of the contactees, we can have an idea of what the Aliens have "in mind", am I right?
So, let us read the messages given to the contactees by those Aliens.
If we do this, we will find that Aliens think about the Creator, the Ascension( nobody know what exactly this means,) the Illuminati, the New World Order, Christ, Jehovah, the Chakras, New Age, you name it.
But...wait a minute. These Aliens have in their Highly Evolved Minds the same things that we have in ours. (something is wrong here.)
!Nothing about the nature of the Universe, no physics, no medicine, no mathematics..!
In other words, what the Aliens have in their minds, is nothing more and nothing less that what is in the mind of the contactees.
It is perfectly possible to think that there are "contactees" but not Aliens contacting them.
It seems to me that in the messages of the contactees there is nothing Alien.
Perhaps someone have a better idea???

Memes and "cum bono"

What are 'memes"? They have been defined as virus of the mind.
memes are simple and effective ideas that through repetition become part of our culture.
"cum bono" means just "?who benefits with this?
Now, considet this meme: UFO's crash.
There are no EVIDENCES but the meme works even in some UFO fans.
But who benefits with this meme?
The authorities.
UFO's are vulnerable. We have crashed UFO's.
In other words the UFO crashes meme benefits the authorities because IF UFOs do NOT crash, then WE are vulnerable.
I suggest that the meme UFO crashes is a nice sample of DISINFORMATION.

How to analyze Contactees Messages.

First of all, the contactee describes a SUBJECTIVE event. That is something that she/he says it happened to him/her.
Consequently we must accept that message "bona fide". We must believe that contactee is telling us the truth.
But we should also consider the possibility that contactee is telling the truth, but what he describes is hallucinatory. The origin of the communication is not OBJECTIVE at all.
However if we suspend again our disbelief, we have other possibility:
We should analyze carefully the content of the contactee message and see if there is something in it that could not be part of our human culture.
IF the contactee's message gives us NOTHING that we could not find in our own human, terrestrial culture, the contactee's message is just MEANINGLESS.
It's value AS EVIDENCE OF E.T. CONTACT IS CERO.

Deconstructing UFO Secrecy

UFO fantasists (not serious researchers) tell us that the government;
(USA & UK ?,)keep the public ignorant about a tremendous secret.
Not only govs are in contact with several Alien species, but they have
alien ships. More over, ETs organized something like a parallel
government, the so called shadow gov.
Some "whistleblowers" (all of them NOT true insiders) are the sources
of this amazing super-secret.
Now, this happens in the Media Age, also called the Information Age.
Never mind if those whistleblowers are disqualified and do not show
any EVIDENCE of what they say.
Fantasists accuse the non-believers as pathological debunkers,
psy-ops, reptilians, you name it.
However, it is not difficult to understand that in our times such
"secrets" could never be "protected".
There would be true insiders ready to change the world revealing
EVIDENCES of such contact and connivance between Gov's and Aliens.
The TRUTH is that in the Information Age, no secret can be kept for long.
The only Secret behind the "cover-up" is this: Governments do not know
what the real UFOs are.
Of course it is possible that govs. not only let us believe in the
fantastic cover-up, but PROMOTE this belief.
